Chicago Bears special teams coordinator Dork Toub may be the latest candidate to interview for that Miami Dolphins' mind-training job.
The Whales completed a 2-day interview with Toub on Wednesday. They have also questioned former Tennessee Leaders coach Shaun Fisher and Todd Bowles, who had been Miami's interim coach for that final three games this year after Tony Sparano was fired.
Toub continues to be using the Bears since 2004 and assisted Devin Hester, Johnny Knox, Robbie Gould and Brendon Ayanbadejo win Professional Bowl honors. He was an assistant special teams and defensive line coach for that Philadelphia Eagles from 2001 to 2003.
Toub's ascent to some mind-training job would not be unparalleled. Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh was the Eagles' special-teams coach for nine years.
